The City of Ramsey—where urban living meets the great outdoors. Bordered to the east by the Rum River and to the south by the Mississippi River, Ramsey boasts unique natural resources, robust industrial, office and commercial developments and a broad mix of housing choices. Ramsey’s downtown is The COR, an up and coming transit-oriented development covering more than 400 acres. At the COR’s full build out, 1,500 residential units will be available, including homes for seniors and young professionals. Nearly 4,000 jobs will be created. Approximately $3.5 million in local tax revenue will be generated each year in The COR. The Ramsey Station investment of approximately $13 million is leveraging $80 million in residential, retail and other investments in The COR. Rail service also has sparked new development around the station area, including the new Veterans Administration Clinic, Allina Medical Clinic, Falls Café, and Legacy Christian Academy.
